I went to purchase something online and found out that JCPenney's lowered my credit rate without my knowledge I have paid my bill on time since I've had their card for 4 years so apparently they went and did a credit check I didn't even know about it but to lower somebody's credit rating after they've been with you for a few years as a pretty low thing to do I'm done with JCPenney's I will never shop there againJ C Penney Company, Inc.

We Bought a Mattress set from my local JC Penney store. 4 weeks later they delivered the wrong mattress. The delivery driver for JC Penney took and loaded my old Mattress set prior to bringing out the new Mattress Set. When, I went into the room when they were all Done I realize they delivered the wrong mattress despite the JC Penney Delivery Driver not informing me. I quickly ran out to their truck as they were driving away and stopped them. I informed them they left the wrong Mattress and they said not our problem and drove away. As I am writing this review I still do not have a resolution or a guarantee that JC Penney is gonna even make this right. To Date I have called 11 times with with about 9 and half hours of waiting or transfers, In this time I been deliberately hung up on multiple times or just left in to waiting to be disconnected, Transferred to a person who pretended to be a manager. 3 Agents even recommended I should buy a second bed set to resolve the issue. After dealing with the customer service I am starting to question if they are even a legitimate company any more.J C Penney Company, Inc.

1 starThis is the first time I have been treated in this manner by an employee from any establishment. I had some jeans that were purchased for my children of different sizes. Not all of the items were purchased by the same person. The jeans had to be returned. I walked into the establishment not spoke to a lady with a British accent Joan. She came to the returns desk to assist along with a gentleman. At this time the store was closing and I did not have the time to pick out the seven different styles and sizes. I asked specific questions regarding the exchange. At this time they said that they would give me the 45 day low and exchange out for the same style pants. I specifically asked if the same color wasn't available would they still do the even exchange. I didn't think to get anything in writing. After this day I had two back to back deaths in my family which did not allow me the opportunity to come back until 4 days ago. I explained the situation and picked out the jeans. Due to their recent return and exchange policy update the supervisors on duty were unable to assist, so I had to come back to speak to person that I originally spoke with. I returned June 28th Tuesday because she works on Tuesday's and I waited and spoke to two other managers while Joan was at lunch. As I'm explaining the situation to the two supervisors one is shaking her head no and the other one was nodding as though she understood what I was saying. One of the managers said let me go speak to Joan, she came back and said Joan said she didn't speak to you. I then said I will wait to see her in person. So she asked if I could walk to the back to the return desk. After waiting another 15 Joan walked up with the manager that kept shaking her head no and would not let me get two words out. She talked down at me as if I was the dirt on the ground. She said I here you had a death but I didn't think it would take this long. I then requested to speak to the store manager Glen. I ordered from JCPENNY online. I was waiting for 10 days for my package to be received... And I still never received it. But it says it was delivered. I called them, the told me to file a police report. I believe it is not a big amount of money to so. I just want to have my full refund or reshipment. JCPENNY doesn't want to help me with this.J C Penney Company, Inc.

We have reached out to the customer to advise that due to the amount of the order, we require a police report in order to issue credit, the order shows delivered by the carrier on 6/21/2022. Once the customer files the police report, we can review and look in to issuing credit.
Once we hear from the customer, we will be happy to assist with this matter.

I ordered some blouses/shirts from JCPENNEY. I was informed 2 items will be delivered but I never received those 2 items. What they delivered was a piece cookware which I have to bring to the store which defeated the purpose of ordering it online. They have billed me for those 2 items which I contested. To cut the long story short I reordered those 2 items. Based on the email I received today it was canceled. No explanation why. I had to call only to find out it was out of stock. When that order was placed those items were not out of stock. I have checked. Wouldn't it be easier to inform me through the same email the items were out of stock? It's just disappointing I have to waste time calling and returning items. I hope JCPENNEY will improve their service. The pandemic is not a good excuse for poor service.J C Penney Company, Inc.

1 starI purchased a BR800 medium beautyrest mattress and boxspring on 5/16/21 order #*******************. The boxspring was eventually returned because it was not the one I ordered. After two deliveries of the wrong boxsprings, they eventually admitted to me the original boxspring ordered was discontinued. So i had to buy my own foundation separately. Now the mattress sinks in the middle after using it just a little over a year. I am the only one using the mattress and I only weigh 119 lbs. There's a ten year warranty but only if I get a replacement and pay a 15% stocking fee. I don't want a replacement. I want a return for my money back. Asked to buy earrings.. specific request of fairly cheap and not allergic reaction cheap... employee then says six twenty four (clarifying specific digit verbalization).. okay, seems almost too inexpensive. Get to the register with a 30% discount and recognize earrings are $400+ total. Okay. Not what I expected. Recommendation, ensure employees are using full dollar amounts in pricing clarification. Saving grace (3 star) is that I bought pants for around $30 a piece. (Which is fair)J C Penney Company, Inc.

The following info took place at one of your stores in Killeen, Tx on January 21, 2022 at approximately 1900 hours. I am requesting to have this incident investgated:
I was visiting a friend in Killeen,Tx, on January 21, 2022, and I wanted to get out for some exercise, but it had been cold out a few days; so I decided to get my 10,000 steps in at the mall.
After walking for 90 minutes in the mall, I bought me a pretzel and tea, and sat for an hour.
Then I went into JCPENNEY because I had nothing warm to wear to a party I was invited to. I found a few pieces, then asked the clerk if I could leave my things on the counter until I came back from the restroom. I stopped by the shoes because I needed everything if I was going to be warm and comfortable for the cold night.
When I made it back to the register, the clerk was waiting on another customer who left the counter to find something else. Meanwhile, I told the clerk that I would go next door to look for shoes while she was waiting on the other customer to get back.
No sooner than I entered the shoe store next door, Security *************, with a male & female Mall Security approached me to come with them. Outside of the shoe store, I aked what this was about, and I was told that JCPenney didn't want me in the store, and that I can not come back to this Mall. I asked what did I do, and if I could have something in writing, and ************* said he would give me a citation, or I could call JCPenney Corporate. He also mentioned I was at the Mall with someone else, and when I asked for proof (video), he just kept telling me to contact corporate, and that "Texas law states a business has a right to deny doing business with a customer."
I am a very long time customer of JCP (more than 2 decades) with a JCP CredJ C Penney Company, Inc.
