Terrible customer service. Just horrible. The people who answer the phone - do not care about speaking to people with respect. They do not carry complaints over to managers as requested even though all calls are recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. There should be equitable consequences to businesses that do treat customers fairly.Copart, Inc.

Buyer beware and stay away from Copart. They will advertise vehicles with a "clean title" but do your research. I was about to purchase a vehicle using the "Buy it Now," feature that was listed as "clear title" but upon further research, the title in fact was "scrapped" and the vehicle is unable to be titled in any other state. I simply asked for a refund on my membership because the only reason I signed up up for a membership is to purchase this particular vehicle (LOT# ********). Had I known the title wasn't clear, I would have never ordered an inspection report or signed up for a membership. My repeated request to resolve this issue were denied. I will NEVER work with this company again. Member number ******.Copart, Inc.

Mr. ********** We apologize that your experience with Copart was less than expected. Customer experience is very important to us. In reviewing the lot referenced, this vehicle was assigned to auction out of our Mebane, ** location on 2/19 and again on 2/26/2025. Our records do not indicate this vehicle having a "scrapped" or junk title. The referenced lot was advertised and sold on a clean South Carolina title. Unfortunately, the referenced vehicle would be only available to dealers as state law prohibits clean title vehicles being sold to public members. Additionally, our records indicate your membership with Copart was initiated on 7/08/2023 and is not eligible for any membership refunds. Thank you, CopartJ. J.

Copart, I understand that your website has the title as clean, but I am telling you it is not, per the carfax. The lot did not have the title in hand. The vehicle has a scrapped title. If I could post the *** and screenshot of the carfax here, I would. I am posting so others are aware of your misleading information regarding car titles.Review fromRenee S

If i could leave a 0 star i would. My car was towed to copart without my authorization. While in their lot, which one i couldnt tell you because i was lied to about where my car even was. One said lansing, the other wayland. Car then got towed to a repair shop. After it was deemed a total loss recieved my car back. While in their lot my car was gouged down the whole side, inside parts where broken, my key was destroyed, and things stolen from my vehicle. They tried to negotiate some sort of resolution, after they admitted to it happening on their lot. They offered to buy my car for 1200 that booked out at nearly 8000. They refused to fix the situation. If i could afford a lawyer i would have sued. I will NEVER buy or sell or have any dealing with this company. Absolute trash.Copart, Inc.

They advertised an auction for a clean title car that they sold to me. I paid promptly. I had it delivered and that part was great. The title showed up 3 days later than promised. Trying to transfer the title, IN *** said it has a lien, and a duplicate title exists. I called Copart and spoke with a woman who told me "it looked clean to us." When i asked for a supervisor she transferred my call to a voicemail "survey" mailbox. I am left tryjng to find/contact the original owner or "Quiet Title" through court system. It's been 6 weeks as I write this. Buyer beware. From what ive been hearing "everybody" knows this but I didnt. I'm fairly sure, it's more than likely Copart is well aware of this and cares primarily about the ********$, not customer satisfaction.Copart, Inc.

My truck was towed there after an accident to sit in the lot while getting appraised. My truck came back a total loss but I was able to buy it back and have it released to be towed to a place of my choice. When I got my truck back, (the same day) all of the stickers on my windows were scraped off. Both license plate frames were missing, the plates were completely bent up and folded over and the brackets were broken off. Thrown in an envelope. Clearly they were ripped off with pliers. All of my floor mats were pulled up and thrown in the rear of the truck. In doing so there are many scrapes on the dash, console, etc. from them doing that. (they are the hard weather tech mats). The few things I left in the truck before the tow were just tossed on the floor. I get it if they are junking the vehicle but they didn't even wait to see if it was going to be returned to me. They just went to town tearing it up. Good luck to the next guy.Copart, Inc.

This Company is an auction company for Vehicles, mostly repo or insurance claims. I've been buying auctions from many other online auction companies. I bid on an RV that I was interested in and bid until the auction ended. At the end of the auction it was extended for 90 minutes and thats a typical thing. I continued to bid and watched it live on my phone while bidding on my computer. In the last minute it had a countdown timer and I had the last bid posted thinking the other bidder dropped out because his auto bids stopped and he quit entering bids for the last 11 minutes. While watching the auction for the last minute on my phone I kept refreshing the auction to make sure I was still the last bidder and was all the way down to the clock hitting zero. After the action I received a notice that I was outbid. So of course I called the company for an explanation. Since I know the auction ended at 12:00 and extended 90 minutes later per their terms of use. They told me I was outbid and a winning bid was placed it 1:33. What a scam. I can only say my belief was they had an insider or regular bidder that was part of the good old boys club. Beware you have to pay a fee to be able to bid on these auctions and a deposit of 10% for the basic member. I did so and do not believe their explanation, I've been auction bidding for over 15 years and even government auctions sites aren't this horrible. Beware if you join, i'm already a member so we'll see if the ** continues.Copart, Inc.

Mr. ******* We do apologize that your experience with Copart was less than expected; customer experience is very important to us. Unfortunately, the vehicle information was not provided for a full research to determine the vehicle/lot referenced. Our system captures bid activity information for preliminary bids as well as live auction bids for all lots. We are unable to enter or adjust any bids. There are buyers who do wait until the last possible second to place a bid; depending on their internet provider and server speeds they are able to place a bid before time is up. We value all of our members and hope this experience does not reflect poorly on Copart. Thank you, CopartReview fromJasmine F

I won a car from the Copart in **********. I tried to pay for it, but my payments weren't being accepted. I called multiple times, and then was finally told it was due to my card address not matching up by someone in the call center/member services. The car eventually was relisted sold to someone else, and they put a 600 dollar fee on my account. when I called to see if anything could be done about it giving the circumstance. I was told by an employee "*****" that "We don't do refunds you are responsible for fees" even though I told her that I tried to pay for the vehicle and was given issues. I also would like to point out I emailed about the email address issue when I originally signed up for Copart no one ever responded. So they are just sticking me with the relist fee. The manager supposedly was in a meeting and couldn't talk to me, but it just came off clearly that they didn't want to resolve the issue or cared. This is a fair warning, don't buy from these people.Copart, Inc.

I used bother Apple Pay, and Debit card. Both was rejected by your app and via the website. When I called to ask for help about the situation, your call center non of the people there knew exactly how to help me. They kept resetting the account so I can use my card it still rejected my payment information and wouldnt take the payment. Someone finally told me that it was my address but by the time I got help there were so many fees added onto the car, plus, it was relisted then sold. Then I was told to pay a relisting fee even though it quite literally wasnt my fault yall didnt take the payment for car, and didnt know what was going on. I got yelled at by your customer service rep ***** at the ************ in *******, and nothing was done about that. For those reason I will not removed any negative comment. I am filing a formal complaint against Copart regarding an unresolved issue with a charge for a membership renewal. Copart claims that I purchased membership in July of last year, but I did not authorize any purchase I made account in June as shown in my email I have no transactions of July showing that I purchased a membership and I only purchased a membership in November of last year and have no records of any transactions in July.Despite multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with Copart, they have refused to issue a refund for the incorrect charge that they claim and have not provided any satisfactory resolution.Copart, Inc.

If you look up incompetence in the dictionary its just a picture of everyone who works here. Car was totaled by a **** member, they sent to Copart to deal with title exchange. We did not have the original title from the start and mentioned that several times. I spoke with a Channel (sp?) who couldnt give me an explanation on why multiple power of attorneys were needed. Called again later and she told her ****** that shed call me backnever did. Called back next day, spoke with a real C U Next Tuesday who was speaking to me like I was an idiot and huffing and puffing to my questions. While this is all you going on, Im getting my emails saying they never got the power of attorneys we sent back. Called to talk again about that and magically found them the next day. So some intern or somebody lazy wasnt doing their job. After we finally received more documents to sign and acquired the title, we sent that back they said they lost that too. Called back on 12/27 and spoke with a Brah (sp?) who called the Copart location and confirmed they had the documents they needed, closed our case, and confirmed everything via email. Only one person out of 5 that I spoke with could figure that out. This company is the worst and I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy. If you have to deal with them, be prepared to call every day.Copart, Inc.

Lot # is ********. And too late, itd be one thing to not know answers and not have enough training. But to have some woman who hates her life **** and puff while Im trying to understand how I can remedy the situation, is really unprofessional. And then just the simple act of calling someone back when you said you were going toand never hearing back from that person ever again, truly shows what your company is about. Go listen to all the phone calls I made (since the automated system says you record them) and youll see what I mean.Review fromMario K

If there would be 0 score, that's what they would get. Manipulative managers, using fake and misleading descriptions of vehicles offered for sale. Bought one car at ***** IL location. The manager there, **** ******** is a real joke. He admitted they sold me not drivable car listed as run and drive and don't wanna refund me the money for it. On top of it they charge me storage for it. The cv axle is missing, looks like someone riped it out of it. **** emailed me that the car came this way. If it came this way it should not be sold as run and drive vehicle, there is no cv axle there, he is misleading customers. The car should not be listed as run and drive. From what I see now I am not the only one dealing with their c***Copart, Inc.
