y wife and I enjoy Popeyes as a fast-food chain chicken. We get it and know it is almost always excellent. Unfortunately, we had a bad batch. Normally not an issue, if we could have just gotten the issue resolved but your company's lack of customer service is atrocious. I called the store numerous times, including non-peak hours as I know they are busy with no response. I also called the customer service line but that just goes to a phone tree that texts me a link to go in the app. The app doesn't recognize the order ID#************************ despite 3 repetitions of it and the link to request service on the app just says someone will be in touch within 48 hours and still no one has resolved the issue. A small issue that could have been easily resolved has turned into a big headache due to your company's lack of support and service.Initial Complaint

On April 5th I ordered food from Popeyes. After my order was placed and I arrived they told me they were out of the food I ordered. They asked what I wanted to replace the food with where I said No thank you, could you just cancel my order and refund it. They told me that they were unable to and that I should do it through the app. The customer support on the ********************** mobile app said they couldnt give me a refund and that they could give me a coupon instead. I said thanks for the coupon but I want a refund for my order. I placed an order and didnt receive the food, simply. I just want my money back.Initial Complaint

I placed an order in restaurant at Popeyes for chicken and sides. When I arrived home the chicken that was given to me was petrified looking, dry, old and not edible. I had to throw away the chicken because it tasted old, was so dry couldnt swallow it. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke to the manager ***. I advised him of what happened. He said I could come back and get one box of spicy, but not the full order tonight, however it was 7:30 pm at night and a 20 minute drive each way. I asked if I kept my receipt would I be able to get the meal tomorrow or next week as a replacement. He told me no that he would only replace the box is spicy chicken despite me ordering 2 boxes of chicken one regular and one spicy and 2 sides. I advised him that our dinner was ruined and we were not able to eat the chicken. This is unacceptable after spending $32 on a meal that went in the garbage to only replace a box of 5 pieces of chicken. I would either like a full refund or a complete replacement meal.Initial Complaint

I visited this Popeyes on April 06, 2025. There were a couple people already in the drive thru. I ordered my food after waiting my turn as I was pulling around this Popeyes decided to have their trash can in the middle of the drive thru driving area for customers. The way you come off an angle after ordering its no way to see that trash can if you are in a truck or van which sits lower on the ground. I unfortunately hit the trash can and it caused damage to my truck. I have pictures and videos showing the damage and where the trash can was located. There is a yellow line customers are to stay in while driving around the building. I was well within in that area. Why is there a trash can in the drive thru? The manager there who was training was extremely rude and laughing the whole time. He never bothered to help me or apologize for the incident. He laughed in my face. The store manager and general manager are failing to acknowledge that the trash can should not be in the drive thru. It should be closer to the building. A general liability claim needs to be filed immediately. I will get a lawyer if I have to.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on their website and then it glitched. I used rewards, and they took them away 1800 points. And then they charged me the full amount anyway, without any warning or saying, any reason why they could not redeem it. My order arrived and we were missing the drink. I attempted to contact the store via phone and it did not ring or anything. And could not get in touch with anyone I attempted to reach the 800 number, which is corporate. And they have not responded to me, and it's been 3 days. I attempted to call another adjacent store. They seemed unaffected I didn't care. I called another one during the day. And they said they would pass it on to their manager and still no response. I'm very frustrated with the lack of being able to contact a store directly. The phone is not functional. The main corporation is not even able to be in touch with directly. This is bad business.Initial Complaint

Spent $30 on a pickup order restraint said they didnt have it even after I showed them my bank statement and order number. Still didnt help me out. I then contacted Popeyes support and was straight up ignored by them even after sending about 5 emails. Also have had other people tell me when they dont want to refund theyll ignore your email. Transaction date. 4/5/2025 We went thru the drive thru and placed an order for spicy chicken and other items totaling $40.34 at 4:48pm.When we pulled up to the window the young man said there will be a wait for spicy or I can have mild. I said no we will wait for the spicy. The girl with red braids said oh your gonna wait with an attitude, I said yes we will wait. I pull forward to where I was directed. After 20 mins someone was pulled behind me waiting. That cars order come out at 5:24pm, I asked the girl with red braids will the spicy be much longer her response with an attitude was I dont know I dont cook, the spicy chicken takes longer. This is uncalled for. She brings our order out at 5:28pm. We check we have wing box apple pies and chicken box. That chicken was nasty. The chicken had been in the box so long the skin was not crispy, but mushy. The internal chicken was not hot like chicken that had just been cooked. The wings (which I said boneless when I ordered) was bone in barley warm and so greasy you could not eat it. For a $40.34 order I would expect a nice hot meal, not chicken skin so mushy you couldnt eat it and greasy cold wings. The only thing good and hot were the apple pies. I want a refund for the 8 piece chicken and 6 piece wings You know it is a horrible busy when the bottom of the receipt says no refunds. They must serve subpar food on a regular basis.
