      Sparklight (formerly Cable One) is the only service provide in our area at the moment. I dont exactly know why this would be since Specturm and other internet companies are near this area, in the same town but not available in certain areas.Sparklight provides decent internet / cable services, but has constantly raised prices over the years to the point were prices are becoming ridiculously high for basic internet/cable services.I recently noticed my **** go up once again and reached out to Sparklight about issues with billing.I was automatically upgraded to the next internet plan up without notice or explanation. I spoke with customer support and was notified that the plan I currently had (100 Mbps - 350 GB data cap) was an old plan that was being phased out and that everyone was getting upgraded. Customer support also stated that notices of the changes were sent out by mail. I never received a notice about the changes. Customer support also stated that my **** will now go up $10 a month for 12 months then another $5 after that. This cannot be right for this company to do this. If they still have customers on the old plans that they once offered they should honor that until all customers on the old plans cancel service or upgrade themselves.This is becoming more of a method of predatory billing practices and something needs to be done to prevent companies such as this from taking advantage of customers.

      Horrible service. Were forced to only be able to choose them in our area since for some reason they got the monopoly for our area. They cant ever keep the service up and they still make you pay an arm and a leg for internet thats not even unlimited.

      This has to be one of the most inept companies around. They want money for their service but when you don't get it they don't care. Where I live we have little choice of providors. If you ask for a credit they treat you as if you are lying about the service. This practice real aggravates me. I wish they had competition.

      I don't like thier pyramid scheme billing practices there is no help with any of the problems there has been a box of thiers laying over in our yard since 2014 when we called the mryland heights office about it the woman was very rude and arrogant and acted like it was our problem the box is broken with wires hanging out of it and sharp edges it's dangerous.thier service is none

      Im writing this regarding my account if this does not get fixed I will report this to the *** and BBB I was charged $45 service was not told about this they told me the reason for this was my PlayStation cause all of this and my service issue I have had four technicians came to look at was told it was my lines this need to be fixed

      Although their annual notice states that customers can cancel "at any time," this is not the case. I moved out of the ** area at the end of February, and had difficulty getting ahold of a customer service rep that could cancel my service when I called. Furthermore, there is no option to cancel services on their website, leading to late fees for unpaid charges at an address I have not lived at for 2 months now. They are either behind the times as an internet provider, or purposefully make it difficult to cancel their service in hopes of customers forgetting the service exists.
