    Well had a great presentation today! Truly let me know how unprepared I am for a fire. We will see how effective and efficient the system is! Then again I hope I never have to find out (by being involved with a fire)! Peace of mind is important!

    I entered a drawing at a community event for a safety kit. Having won the kit, ***** came to my house and gave a 1.5 hour presentation on fire safety, I was already aware of the shortcomings of traditional smoke alarms from news features. The system this company sells has an app that shows the status of all alarms in the house. Its a great system but being on a fixed income the recommended setup was way out of my price range. ***** pared down his recommendations to what I could afford monthly. No hard sell, no pressure. Very courteous. He set up two Carbon Monoxide detectors and two smoke/fire detectors. I can add additional detectors once these are paid off and I have the funds. The cost is very high (over $500 per detector ) but it is warranted for 20 years and Ill never need to change a battery. This gives me peace of mind.
