    6/1/22 I took a TV purchased from ****** ****** (no longer needed as the dc plug was bad, not my rv tv) to UPS Store 1728 **** ************* clerk asked value 350.00 and paid 55.00 to ship. TV was delivered 6/7/22 to ****** ****** in Tampa FL and they contacted me same day and stated the screen was damaged and told me to contact UPS and file a damage claim. I did so and was told they needed pictures of the tracking label, box, packing material and damage. ****** ****** took pictures and sent them to me and I forwarded them to UPS store1728 manager. TV was picked up 6/10/22. I checked the progress of UPS investigation determination periodically and it was always pending. 8/2/22. Called UPS main *************** and was told no determination yet and that TV was sent to the origin shipping UPS store 1728. On 8/8/22 I checked status of damage claim with UPS main # and was told investigation was closed due to fact that package was found. I told the UPS agent that package was not lost it was a damage claim. The UPS agent I spoke with on 8/2/22 changed it from damaged claim to a lost claim. The agent I was speaking with changed it back to a damage claim. I went to the UPS store 1728 and talked with the manager Connie and she had the same info that I obtained from UPS main # agent. I asked UPS store 1728 mgr. to provide me with all documentation of this claim including pictures, phone calls to UPS and original damage claim form. she provided them to me and I will forward them to BBB at your request. i request a refund of value of damaged TV, approx. 350.00 and shipping charges 56.00

    We submitted all the information that UPS requested to process this claim. For some reason, UPS claims department repeatedly requested the same information even though we submitted the information that UPS claims department requested in a timely manner (within 24-48 hours). Unfortunately, this claim still remains unresolved.

    I have asked our franchise consultant to escalate this matter. We hope that we can get this issued resolved quickly for the customer.
