    AVL designed a system (with some guidance and requests from the client) and completely failed to deliver. The cameras cannot be controlled through the software as was indicated by the lead designer on the project.They have sat in meetings since I took a new job and indicated that they are not responsible for it failing to function properly because I indicated that the first solution they offered wasn't a good fit for us and asked them for an alternative. After some research, the designer came back with a software-based solution (not at my request) which appeared that it would work.I also had to call the president of the company to correct a poor installation of lighting fixtures and the church is still waiting for followup to change the fan speed on the lights (which are very loud at the moment). The church has done approximately $160,000 of business with AVL over the past 40 months, largely because of their reputation and confidence that they would be taken care of moving forward. That appears to be a sunk cost, as the church no longer feels comfortable reaching out to AVL for support.
