Customers Beware:If you need the services that this business provides, be sure you get an estimate of their pricing prior to using them. The job I wanted them to do was to empty the attic in my home in prep for insulation to be installed. I asked the owner of the business to give me an estimate of the cost but he said he could not without seeing what their was. Later I asked again, but was told nothing about the cost. even though I sent him six photos taken from the attic. He called me back in a week or so to schedule his crew to come do the job. I told him that there may be some things I might want, and he said that would be fine. Still no estimate of pricing or explaining how their pricing would be figured. It took 2 guys 2 hours to finish the job, and they did a good job. I kept some things and they loading the rest in the truck to haul that away. When they brought me a **** of $615.00 I was shocked - for 2 hrs work. When I finally was able to talk to the owner about why it was so high?? He argued with me and tried to justify the charges. Then he explained that he charges $50 per yard of what they haul away, and $150 per hour what they put down by me to keep in my garage beside me rather than putting it in the truck. I felt he charged too much by charging 2 different amounts like doubling the charge. why charge 3 x the amount that they did not even have to load in the truck. I felt that was way too high, but he was not going to give me any kind of a break. He justified charging the $150 hourly for "moving" what I kept, not what they loaded into the truck. They "moved" all of it", 2 guys in 2 hrs. I take it as double billing !! If i had some idea ahead of time I would not have been so unhappy. So do NOT do what I did. Ask what the hourly rate is vs the junk hauling away rate or you will what I got---a sky high **************************
