  TMAK Restorations remodeled my kitchen. Mike and Jim were a great help in planning the updated layout and ordering the cabinets. Nick and Mike handled the demo, which included removing the plaster walls and ceiling down to the studs. Mike handled all the electrical updates including installing recessed lights and multiple outlets. Nick did a fantastic job with the drywall, plumbing, and installing the cabinets, including some custom work around a radiator and an unusual corner cabinet. Nick saved and re-installed the existing wood trim, and created matching custom framing to replace the deteriorated trim around the kitchen window. Nick also painted the trim, ceiling, and walls and installed the backsplash. TMAK went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the finished product. I highly recommend TMAK, not only for their craftsmanship but also their willingness to accommodate the challenges posed by remodeling a kitchen in an older home.

  I’m 69, retired and living on a fixed income. I spoke with Mike from TMAK Renovation LLC two weeks ago about finishing my kitchen remodel since the previous contractor took my money and didn’t buy or install the materials he was paid to. We had a nice conversation and I explained everything, sent pictures and a list of what needed to be done per his request. After visiting his website I texted Mike that my kitchen was nothing like the high-end kitchens on his site and I’d understand if he doesn’t want to do it, he said “I see the situation you are in and I don’t wanna leave you high and dry.” He planned on coming out on Wednesday before the holiday or for sure the next week. I didn’t hear from him so I sent him a text Monday after the holiday, “I was wondering if you will still be coming out?”. He apologized about Wednesday and said “Yes, I still plan on coming out to your house. I can get there today or tomorrow. Can I call you later to schedule?” He never called and he never came out. I don’t understand why he would intentionally mislead me and let me think he was going to help me when all along he knew he wasn’t.

  Hi A*** I realize that you have a bad taste in your mouth and contractors, especially after the bad experience you just went through. I also understand that you are retired and that you have to see your kitchen every day and it probably seems like forever that you've been going through this process. I apologize that I forgot to call you back, we are extremely busy and my current customers get first priority. It would have been nice to get another call from you before putting such a bad review on my profile, especially since we did not have a commitment in any way, shape or form, and I was trying to go out of my way to help you out of a bad spot. I wish you the best of luck

  My review of you was based on my experiences with you. I do not hold others accountable for something someone else has done to me and I certainly do not blame an occupation, that would be silly. Absolutely, your current customers come first, however, I would hope your potential customers are also important enough to take 30 seconds to send a text so they want to become current customers. Also, please do not text me directly again. The best of luck to you too.
