    On 2/27/24, I ordered two pairs of orthotic shoes at Crosby's Drugs and Home Health Care located at **** ***** **** ******* ********* ** ****** phone number ###-###-####. I paid a deposit of $83.85, and I was told that the order would be delivered to Crosby's, available for pickup, within a week or two. By 4/10/24, the shoes had not yet been delivered to the store, according to *******, the employee with whom I had been in contact over the prior six weeks. I cancelled the shoe order; the understanding with ******* was that $83.85 would be credited to the credit card I had used to make the deposit, a **** *********** Two billing cycles later, the account has not yet been credited. On 6/10/24, I contacted the credit card company's Dispute Resolution department, and a formal complaint procedure was initiated. The ID no. of this Dispute is *************** On 6/27/24, I received an email notification from the ******** Dispute Resolution department that they have not yet heard from Crosby's concerning this issue. The email stated that the merchant has until August 5, 2024 to respond to the Dispute Resolution department. Based on past performance by Crosby's personnel, I am skeptical that they will contact ******** about this issue. I do not yet know what further steps the credit card company can and/or is willing to take to help me resolve this issue. I would like the BBB to look into this issue as well. Perhaps the business will be more responsive to my request with the prospect of the complaint being made public if they continue to be completely unresponsive concerning this issue.

    We are not a member of BBB do not threaten me. We left you years ago due to your inept management and unprofessionalism. Our client and I have worked out the situation and she said not to contact you but she will to close case. I don’t have a case with you but I am only answering you as a courtesy as we are not BBB members. I and many hesitate to get involved with your organization again!
