    I purchased an air mattress from Family Dollar the day after Christmas as a temporary solution until my new furniture arrives. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a waste of money. The first night I used it, the mattress went completely flat while I was sleeping. I re-inflated it, but the same thing happened the next night. It simply would not hold air.When I tried to return it to Family Dollar, the associates informed me they couldnt accept returns for this item due to a warning on the box stating it must be returned directly to the manufacturer, Kentex.I contacted Kentex, and their resolution process is completely unreasonable. They require the original receipt, the original box, and for me to pay for shipping to send them the defective mattress. On top of that, they said they would need to test the mattress to determine if its defective before deciding whether to replace it.For a blow-up mattress to fail this badly and for the customer service to be this inconvenient is unacceptable in 2025. I would strongly advise against purchasing this product. Save yourself the hassle and buy from a more reliable brand with a fair return policy.

    On 03/03/2023 I bought an air mattress at ****** *****r for guests arriving 03/11/2023. It was $30.00 before 7% sales tax. Mind you, nowhere on the isle, in fact nowhere at all in the store, receipt, person checking me out told me anything about the extremely ridiculous return policy for said air mattress that Kentex Corp. enforces on their customers without clearly informing before hand. I aired bed day before guest came and it would not maintain its structure and deleted after several attempts. I went back two days later with receipt and was refused a refund only THEN was I told and directed to a box on package about 1 in in diameter stating it could not be returned in store but refund needed to be addressed with company. All I wanted was a exchange and was refused. I ultimately had to buy a new one which I will attach proof of that also. I contacted Kentex 4 x before hearing back as there is a strict policy of 15 days past the purchase date could not be returned but it is well within. I received an email back stating I Must first take their form fill form, attach photos of receipt explain what happened and send in the broken bed in original box copy of receipt to them w/ my money and they will test it and IF they decide to give me a new one(I do not want), they will refund my shipping fee also but only an exchange can be made. There is no guarantee they will refund my shipping and I no longer need their bed as I had ti buy another. The biggest issue for me is that their was no warning of this before purchase, there was no warning that it could not be returned in store. I do not read the entirety of a box a product comes in before purchasing but regardless none of that is stated on box other than to contact them for refunds/exchange. I filed a dispute with BBB concerning this and this is my actual complaint besides ending. I wrote this for unsuspecting customers like myself to share my terrible experience with their product and customer service. Worst I have seen

    I think the products are good!I purchased on December 16,2022 Today is Decenber20,2022 I went to ****** ****** ***** on December 19,2022 to return product.The employee said I have to call the corporation.The phone number and website is on the box ,with the process to receive refund.I called the corporation. Recorded the conversation.She said I'm not going to get my refund it's family dollars fault.Its not It's her fault.Then I called the better business bureau in the state of Ohio next I called the state of Louisiana.Im online doing a complaint.
