1 starPlease review before your purchase. We spent $6000 on a sofa that took 1 month to deliver 1 piece of the soda and now 5 weeks before we get the second piece. We are in disbelief. We will NEVER purchase from here again. Got the warranty in case the quality ends up being poor. Why doesn't the company CEO care about their awful reviews and try to get deliveries performed in one week??? Do NOT purchase a warranty from this company . They do not follow through , weve been repairing our kitchen table and chairs every couple days for two years . We go to utilize warranty and been told its normal wear and tear they stripped the would with screws . Management never returns calls back from ************ location. Not to mention we were told we can reselect our couch and then new manager says no ! Does not care about customer satisfactionValue City Furniture, Inc.

Placed an order 3months today nor delivered get calls every two weeks to extend delivery, which finally got scheduled and a no show then back to the usual extention of delivery. I've talked to basically 10+ people through over around 15calls including managers and no one is able to resolve this. I guess the expectation is that I cancel the other but after waiting and wasting my time for 3months including a false delivery schedule that made me took time off work is beyond disrespectful at this point!Value City Furniture, Inc.

Worst furniture buying experience ever!My gf sent me to the store to order a table, no one attempted to help me until I literally had my foot out the door. So we ordered the table online. Never got any update online so I went to the store on day of pickup just to find out that the Table was never ordered. Table was then re ordered. Never received an update for this order either. Went this past Friday and spoke to customer service about the table set. The Person went to the back and confirmed that all pieces were in. So we drove to the back to the get the table and chairs, the warehouse worker swore up and down the table and everything wouldnt fit in back of my jeep. I even asked to see the boxes, but I guess that was too much work for a paid worker. So we drove all the way to ********** to get a truck. I already live 40 mins from the store and drive and additional 30 mins just to get a truck. Came back the next morning,Saturday, and waited ***** mins and dude gave me a box that definitely couldve fit in my jeep. I asked him multiple times was he sure that it was everything. He said yes like I was aggravating and holding him up. Opened the box up at home Saturday night and only the table base was included. My gf Called Sunday morning and had to wait hours to hear back just to find out that the chairs and the tabletop had not even been sent to the store and that we would have to wait another week. Literally been trying to buy this table for a month. ***. This was all too much and we still dont have a table set lol. We Will never do business with Value City againValue City Furniture, Inc.

Zero stars - I ordered several sectional pieces of furniture from Value City ****************, ******** on 11/6/24. It was scheduled for delivery on 10/3, then 12/3, then 12/19, then 12/26. The truck came on 2/10 but said they only had 2 pieces. They then 'found' another piece in the truck. On 2/13 I went in to the store and spoke with ****, the manager who apologized, offered me the $230 delivery fee back (which he had already given me in December - needless to say, he did not give me any more). He gave me his card and said 'If I need anything, call. I did after it did not arrive again. He has not called back. He even thanked me for my pleasant demeanor. They said the 4th piece would be here on 3/12, then 3/26 and today they called and told me it would be here on 4/8. I have been told that I cannot return the other pieces since I have had them over 7 days but my set is not complete and looks pretty stupid since it is a center section that is missing and I cannot open both recliners at the same time because there is not enough room. I am exploring other methods of recourse. Court, the news media, not sure what else. I financed this mess and yes I am paying on it. There has to be a limit to this incompetence and continuing to sell items they cannot deliver. I don't even want it anymore.Value City Furniture, Inc.

I think the way I have been treated as a customer is terrible. Value keep telling me that my left face armchair will be coming one day then when that day came they change it again. This is like the fourth or fifth time they have changed, now they saying that it will be coming in May so I guess we’ll wait to see if it comes then, I really want to take them to court because I believe they kept doing this until it would be too late for me to return the furniture and that’s exactly what they didValue City Furniture, Inc.

I ordered furniture before thanksgiving of twenty twenty four. Shipping has been delayed twice. Now they are saying it will not be delivered until May.The kicker is, I had to start paying on the furniture that I never received. This was the WORST furniture experience we have ever had the displeasure of going through. Everything in the store was great - we ordered a dresser & 2 bedside tables. The set was going on clearance so we had to take the dresser on the show floor (no problem) but we were able to order 2 brand new bedside tables (we were told there were 6 in stock so it shouldnt be a problem). We paid & were given a pick-up date of 1 week from then.We went to the loading dock to get our dresser before we left. We were told it would be about 30 mins for them to get it off the floor. We waited for over an hour, rang the bell at the dock and a man came to the door and no idea he shouldve been getting a piece ready. We couldnt wait any longer so we decided to come back when our bedside tables were ready for pickup & get it all together.Spoiler alert: the bedside tables werent ready for pickup when they said. They got delayed another ********* were also informed that they didnt know how many bedside tables were going to delivered. How do you not know when an order was placed and there was enough inventory to begin with. This went on for over 3 weeks of trying to get our furniture, dealing with corporate, etc.The store manager there, ******, was not helpful at all and when I expressed my frustrations multiple times her only response ever was ***** definitely look up their BBB score and other reviews that arent on this store page before moving forward with them. We finally got all of our pieces but I would never do business again with them! BE WARNED!Value City Furniture, Inc.

If I could give zero stars, I would.I should have trusted my gut and never given AS a second chance. Two and a half years ago, my first purchase turned into a delivery nightmare--out of stock, wrong item delivered, constant runaround, and weeks of frustration before finally receiving what I paid for. After that disaster, I swore I'd never shop here ********** forward to Presidents' Day weekend, I made the mistake of giving AS another shot, purchasing an adjustable base, two Twin XL mattresses, and living room furniture. The in-store experience was great, but as soon as delivery was involved, it was ** ** all over again--absolute chaos and incompetence.March 12th - Delivery day arrives. One of the mattresses is missing, yet they still took our old mattress, leaving one of us to sleep on an air mattress. I called immediately and was told I'd get a call that night with an update. No call.March 13th - I followed up and was told the mattress would arrive on the 14th, but I should call first before coming in.March 14th - I call, and suddenly, I'm told the mattress was "just ordered" and wouldn't arrive until March 26th--completely contradicting what I was told before. After pushing back, I was promised a callback in an hour and a half. No call. I had to call again, only to be given more excuses and ********* this point, I knew how this was going to end--I wouldn't get my product, and AS would continue wasting my time. Sure enough, they failed to deliver (again), and I ended up getting a refund.Bottom Line:Their delivery service is an absolute ******* accountability, no follow-ups, no urgency.They will take your money, but good luck getting what you paid for.If you enjoy endless phone calls, broken promises, and fighting for a refund, shop here. Otherwise, save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.Value City Furniture, Inc.
