Called Towne with a leak through ceiling and light fixture. I talked to someone named ***** who did not listen to a word I said, kept yawning and said he had just woken up. He then proceeded to call me disrespectful when I told him I too had just woken up with a leak in my condo ceiling! Very unprofessional and rude.

******* *** townhomes. When we originally signed a lease they were under a different management. This new one is awful (towne properties). You can tell the quality of work was lacking when this place was built, which isn't a huge deal because we are renting and not ownin.Huge gaps under the front and back doors so bugs and drafts are always coming in.we pay an extra community fee but unclear what is actually covered in that,as they don't plow or shovel any of the property. They also installed this new internet into all of our places saying it was an option. But I'm assuming they will soon make us pay for it regardless if we want to use it or now.But my biggest complaint involves the management.A few weeks ago we heard a loud crashing noise. the shower door in the main bathroom just shattered out of nowhere.Unsure how this could even happen I took to ****** to get answers. The answers ranged from improper installation, poor quality, temperature, and other things like that.We immediately emailed the office to alert them because we weren't sure how to proceed if any glass got down the drain. The next morning (Saturday) we called and went to visit the office and no one was there even though it said they had Saturday hours. Finally got in touch on that following Monday and they said they submitted a work order.A full week later someone finally came and switched out the glass.I received an email a few days later from the property manager stating that we would have to pay for the glass door because it had to be our fault and if it were improperly installed we would have submitted a work order. This is absolutely insane. If it were installed improperly but still seemingly working how would I know it needs to be fixed? Also the implication that we caused it to break is outrageous.I emailed towne properties, called their office and spoke with someone who was going to take some notes down from me and get back to me.I haven't heard anything yet.I would be getting an estimate soon.

In 2022, when my father-in-law was 93, his wife passed away of Alzheimers in a nursing home. He had spent all his money on her nursing care. He was healthy, and thought he could live on his own in an apartment. He signed an 18 month lease with Towne Properties in early 2023 to live in a 1-bedroom at ********** in **********, ****. He lived there a few months, but it became clear to my husband, his son, and me that he wasnt feeding himself well, or having enough social interaction to stay healthy. His cardiologist, ****** *****, with the ******************** group, agreed and wrote a letter to Towne Management telling them that *******, my father-in-law, had a heart condition that meant that he could not live alone and take care of himself. We gave more than 30 days notice to Towne Management and moved him closer to us to a place that has more services for him, like a dining room, and transportation and social services. Towne Management has turned him over to a collection agency! The collection agency has harassed him via phone, put a lien on his credit, and caused him great stress that a 96 year old former marine with a heart condition does not need. If they actually had a case, they would take him to court. But Im sure they dont want to take it in front of judge, who would not look sympathetically to them.

They dont even deserve a 1. You call the main line for help and they are RUDE. You never get straight answers and out parking lot is a mess. There is never anywhere to park and I have ONE car. I cant sell my condo because of a landslide we get NO factual information about.

I currently live in a condo i purchased where Towne handles the money we have for paying for needs and updates, prior i lived in an apartment for 5 yrs that Towne managed. Both have been fairly bad experiences. The apartment , they STOLE/KEPT my deposit which i shouldve received back because they said i didnt give enough notice. Yet by law if you buy a home you dont even have to give them a notice at all and you are federally protected, yet towne still took my 1500 dollar deposit and i even didnt stay a single day in the apartment that entire last month, i did them a favor if anything. But thats not all! One of their maintenance employees stole my radio from the pool one afternoon, then when i went to move out the maintenance employee who lived in my building, busted my lock off of my storage unit and stole about 400 dollars worth of stuff before he moved out . Now onto out condo issues, towne contiunaly wants to raise our condo dues, gets nothing done and mismanages our money. They cannot prove where any of our money is going to, its been a long time coming for this ship to sail, if you can avoid Towne Properties running your HOA/COA structure or avoid any apartments managed by this awful company i suggest to run the other way. At the end of the day i cant believe i let them steal from me not once, but twice and get away with it. Poorly ran business all around.

Lived in the community for more than 5 years and vacated end of August after finishing our lease period and handing over the keys to Chris (Maintenance). While living, I had to resort to the Code Enforcement as my kitchen ceiling was leaking and nothing was done for 18 months time. I had removed my negative review and left a positive one as some of the staff tried to support a bit. Its been more than 50 days now and my security deposit is not yet returned. Ohio Law allows Tenants' Rights to have the Security deposit refund within 30 days. I had called them more than 5 times and emailed them but no reply so far. I am again resorting to the City of ******** authorities to guide me on this. Contacted them again through email/phones- no response. So, They are choosing to neglect based on the previous code enforcement issues they had is what I think. I emailed them today that I want to end things amicably. I trust Ohio Law will help get my security deposit back.

Absolutely worst place to rent. Nothing ever gets fixed and when they come out....IF they comes out...the repair job is worse than the actual issue before they had touched it. No dryer since May 2024 it is now September 2024, ants/ bugs, leaks, Faucets that drip, bathroom drains clogged when moved in, chipping paint, falling apart cabinets ....so much wring here. Save yourself don't move here.

We moved into Towne Properties (The ***** ** ******) in December. In January our 2 year old husky started having reactions to the environment. I tested for mold: positive, tested for CO2: dangerously high levels. In February we discovered that we had a 5 ft birds nest in the attic above our apartment which allowed for fecal matter, bones and feathers to come through our vents. Our dog ended up ingesting some of this stuff before we got home and passed away a couple days later. We have had issues with sleeping, breathing as well as a massive ant infestation. We now can’t afford to move out due to draining our savings trying to save our dog. Ray (the property manager) has been difficult to deal with and some what disrespectful. Not only has this been our worst experience but also traumatic with the loss of our dog and waking up with ants on us multiple times.

I signed a contract that stated it would cost $399 to hold an apartment for the weekend. After I refused to sign the representative told me “no worries it’s actually $99” and wrote it down for me. When I called the following Tuesday to say I had decided against the apartment my card was charged $399. After several attempts at calling and writing a letter nothing has been done. I would strongly advise against doing business with this company. In ********** it is called Waterstone Landing.
