We hired Doug R***, President of Sentry Door, Window & Siding Specialists, to install siding on our home in 2001. We paid him in full over 20K. When there were high winds, our shutters would come loose. We called Doug several times and he would not answer. He hires sub rate contractors to perform the work. In 2015, we had a break-in and our lower sliding door was damaged, Again, we called Doug. He was quick to respond, knowing this was a $2,500 repair. He and another man installed the door. The door is difficult to open, probably because the door was not properly leveled. We have called him several times to complain about the door, which he has to responded. In April of this year we had wind damage to the east side of our home. The damage is not major, however, I am 72 years old and have had 16 surgeries since 1980, and I am unable to climb a ladder. I sent him a message via ********* April 23,24 & May 24. I sent him a photo of the damage and asked for him to give me an estimate of the repair. I know he saw the image because, he said, "What Picture," so I resent the image on ** and his business webpage. He has not responded. Apparently, service after installation is not his business motto. His business is Not a busines I would recommend to anyone.

Sorry for this past customer's dissatisfaction. Sentry did install new windows, doors, decorative front door surround, including pilasters and pediment, patio doors, storm doors, gutters and downspouts, shutters, vinyl siding, and provided other services for Mr. & Mrs. ******** over 20 years ago, for a total price of $18,625.00. Sentry did also, at customer's request, supply and install a new patio door after an unfortunate house break-in. The total for that was $1750. We've never heard about any problems with this patio door, incidentally. So sorry to learn of their storm damage, but Sentry no longer offers siding or siding repair services, having decided to concentrate solely on replacement windows and doors. As we are no longer in the siding business, we are not able to help with the customer's needed storm damage repairs, but do hope they can find a qualified repair person. I do feel this customer's review does not give a fair picture of Sentry Door & Window, having served the Greater Cincinnati area for nearly 38 years, with all business coming from customer referrals, and "word of mouth" work.
