Car broke down on side of road just outside Bowling Green. Had it towed 2.3 miles or I will give them 5 miles top and it cost $165 for out of town tow. Owner Mr **** would not budge on price.

This tow was originally called in by the Wood County Sheriff. Their rates are higher than ours. We chose to do this call as a cash call since you were paying out of pocket. Our rates for a tow that are outside the city limits are as follows: $115 for the hook, $4 per towed miles, 15% fuel surcharge, and sales tax on everything. When you called and spoke to the owner, you did not ask for a price reduction, you simply stated that the price was too high. When he tried to reiterate our prices, you said never mind and hung up. Running tow trucks is not a cheap enterprise and we do the best we can to try to help people work within their budget, while also trying to stay in business and pay our employees livable wages. We are sorry that you are upset with the price, however that is our standard rate for a tow outside of the city limits.

I had the worst experience with this company and mainly just the employee named *****. The tow truck driver of the company (*****) refused to give me his last name so I could have note of it. He was not up for listening to me speak or understanding and was not personable to my situation whatsoever. Since I’m a woman with a voice of concern and was by myself with my young child he laughed and muted me. All of the workers are young and all looked like drug addicts. Then They stated that they were on there way to meet several of us customers at the shop since they have NO ONE at the shop in the customer service desk. We waited over an hour. It was 85 degrees out and no shade. THEY DO prefer a heads up call and yet was given on from another customer yet two tow trucks finally rolled in 1 hour later. They let a different couple to their cars without paying and then demanded cash for others to pick up their vehicles. One worker was smoking and talking right in our faces. No respect or common courtesy of the employees was observed. they smirked at all the owner cause they thought it was funny. Even if you car is being towed because you were negligent to the signs, at a family festival people don’t have to be disrespectful. This is a family town and not a bully type of environment. I was disappointed in the service. Even though it was my car getting towed and I’m the one who Was technically wrong. Yet I have never experienced this and it was awful. The employees still can have the professional and polite manner towards customers no matter the situation.

We understand that being unknowingly towed can be a frustrating experience. It was a very busy weekend and we did tow many out of lots with appropriate signage at the request of the business owners. This type of tow is cash only and a driver will meet you to release your vehicle. This information should have been relayed to you when you called the number on the tow sign. We’re sorry you were not happy with your experience.

worst tow driver ever. He was upset that I stayed with my car being towed to the repair shop after breaking down on the highway ( I rode in his truck ). He said nothing for the 30min tow and blasted his heavy metal for the entire trip. After going as far from the business as possible (but still in the parking lot, he put the car in the middle of the main passage instead of a parking spot. When I asked his name, he flatly refused. "I refuse to give you that information, Sir." I called their main phone number and the dispatcher also refused to tell me the drivers name or ID number and told me to call AAA, since they sent him to me and the dispatch has so many trucks and drivers, he had no way to know who the driver was or which truck was dispatched. I took pics of the drivers truck, his face, and his license number. I called AAA (they sent him) and they also refused to tell me his name or his ID number. they all pushed me off and expected me to wait 3-5 business days for anyone to call or talk to me about my complaint, so here I am........trying to find anyone that cares about the worst tow truck driver ever (AAA for 30yrs)
