I bought a one month barkbox. Then a couple weeks later I bought a 12 month subscription. After numerous emails over arguing that I should receive 13 boxes not 12 I gave up. I did only get 12 and they've said I only ordered the 12. I have the receipts for both transactions. Very unprofessional customer service and feel as if I was scammed. Thes boxes are expensive.BarkBox

After receiving my first box, I decided that I would cancel my subscription because my dogs got sick from the treats. Ive emailed several times to cancel my subscription and they simply refused to do so and I just received another email stating my order will be shipped on April 1. I responded back again stating that I do not want the product and to NOT charge my account again.BarkBox

After attempting to change my address multiple times and having issues with logging into my account. One day it says they can't find my email, the next I login and change my address and delete the old ones. My next box still goes to the old address. Ok, I go in and see the change didn't take, so I try again. My next box goes to the old address again. I try to login and once again my email is suddenly not valid. I finally chat and they found my account via that exact email. After 3 months of boxes going to an old address I'm not interested in continuing my subscription. Fix your website.BarkBox

I signed up and they were sending toys not appropriate for my dog. I messaged them because each month the toys were not what I said our dog liked. They told me they would switch the plan to toys more suitable for my type dog. (They didn't tell me they were restarting my monthly subscription so added months to my original commitment!) They new toys were worse than the first! I told them my dog doesn't like any type of balls! That's what they were sending! So I messaged again. They said oh, you need the squeaky toys subscription! They said they would switch out the toys to the different subscription. But this time they worded it to where I asked if it was restarting my commitment and they said yes! Each time I complained about the choice of toys they were sending they restarted my commitment! Like blackmailing me to keep extending my original commitment!BarkBox

1 starThey say if you need to contact them it has to me through email, text or FB messenger, then they do not respond.I bought a subscription for 2 tecue puppies. The toys were torn apart in less than 30 seconds and are a bowl obstruction Hazzard. I've requested they cancel the subscription and they refuse. I had to s*** off m6 debit card so they can no longer steal money from me on garbage that will kill my dogs.Review fromScott H

I've asked the company via email. Multiple times to stop charging me so much per ****** 42 dollars a box for some goofy toys that dont even last against my pits teeth. I went in my user profile on their website. Turned off Auto renew. Dispite 4 civil attempts. When i ask to cancel or to reduce they claim they have a barkbox lite but want to charge me another pay period by auto renew. When i log back in to turn auto renew off. It automatically snaps back to the 42 a box subscription. These guys are throughly starting to get on my nerves as a company that pretends to be good but there customer service is terrible. I dont reccomend to buy. They certainly are not worthy of a+ from bbb. Honest rating would fit them better at a D+. A dog toy subscription box should be fun. Not abusive. As an enterapernaur myself. I know if you dont have an honest operation your not going to make it far. They dont tell you are signing a contract with 6 and 12 month.The sign up process is very vague. They're customer service says one thing and does another. Personally i just want to cut ties and them to loose my contact info. But i feel thats not how they operate cause the vibe i get is they are a shady company trying hard to look like a God fearing honest business hustle on the surface.BarkBox

Same issues other people have had with them promising they cancelled our subscription and going another 2 months charging us and EVERY month another random employee PROMISING it wont be an issue again. We have put all their negative reviews printed at both our local animal shelters AND pet stores so everyone in our cities knows not to order ANYTHING from them, they refused to refund our money even though I contacted them BEFORE the boxes shipped out. Just dealt with it AGAIN today. If Im charged again next month I will freak out. This is absolutely ridiculous. Clearly theyre hiring people that are completely incompetent at their jobs and should be EMBARRASSED that their employees cant do a simple thing. ******** disgrace of a company.
