  Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:

  Minnesota Dept. of Labor & Industry Consent Order
  

  On March 30, 2023, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11 (b)(8)(9); 326B.46, subds. 1(a-c), 1b, 2: 326B.47; 326B.805, subds. 1 and 3and 326B.84 (2)(4)(12)(15) (2022). Under terms of the Consent Order, DLI granted their applications for a residential remodeler's license and plumbing contractors license, with the following conditions agree to by the business: to only transact business in the name they are licensed as; to notify DLI within 15 days of any changes in ownership, officers, business name, qualifying person and/or responsible licensed master plumber, and addresses; to ensure that all designated qualifying persons, licensed individuals and individuals performing plumbing work on behalf of the business are W-2 employees and all subcontractors who perform plumbing work on behalf of the business hold Minnesota plumbing contractor licenses. The business also agreed to pay $12,000.00 of a $25,000.00 penalty, with the balance stayed on the condition that the business fully complies with the terms of the Consent Order and has no future violations of any laws, rules or orders under DLI authority.
