    In the last 17 plus years Dynamo has replaced both interior and exterior lights, smoke detectors and my whole house generator. They have provided friendly, reliable, professional service - everything I want in a home repair or maintenance business.

    Dynamo did a great job of replacing our generator. Their advice on sizing of the generator was very well done. Their final work product was technically correct, esthetically pleasing and completed with competent and friendly technicians. We were pleased with their competitive pricing and we have entered into a preventative maintenance agreement based upon the quality and timeliness of their work with us to date.     Owner Paul, came to our home on time to discuss our options on installation of a whole home generator. Having previously been an electrician myself I quizzed him carefully on the extent of the work. I had already obtained another quote from a very reputable electrical firm here in Williamsburg. Paul not only answered all of my questions but provided a quote (on an apples to apples basis) that was several hundred dollars less than the competition since the costs related to VA Natural Gas were not charged separately. He also provided an installation date that was out over a month but when the date came his crew was there promptly in the morning and was able to complete the job in one business day! Paul's office staff is very good about follow ups and reminders and waited patiently while I worked my way thru the process of obtaining a HOA approval for the installation. Overall as a former electrician from IL I would say Paul and his crew really know their field of work and I would recommend them to others.

    I first called Dynamo a couple of years ago to put in an outside outlet to charge a vehicle. I've since called them for burned-out breakers, outdoor hot tub wiring, a smoked wall switch, and another outside outlet for charging another vehicle at another house. I do a lot of my own basic homeowner electrical repairs -- motion-detection switches, new driveway light, dimmers, upgraded power receptacles inside... but anytime I need to bring in the big guns for safe and proper electric service, Dynamo is always my first call. I'll be calling them forever.

    It was stormy on our scheduled service date, which could pose a risk to an electrician! Nonetheless, our technician arrived on time to check whether we were having any problems with our *******, explain why a full checkup might not be prudent, and schedule a follow-up date for the full checkup. On that follow-up date, he again arrived on time and did the full check-up, being personable and professional throughout. That's the level of service we've come to expect from Dynamo Electric!
