We used them off & on for several yrs, just occasional srvc calls. We decided to replace. A few hiccups installing, none were their fault, but issues wound up costing thsnds more & by end weren't interested in working with them again, even though technical issues weren't their fault. A cpl of yrs go by & for the 1st time we wanted to set up a program. In the past we only trnd it on when it got very cold or very hot & left it off otherwise. This yr, w/ the MAJOR temp fluxes, I decided to fgr out how to program it. No manual in paprwrk so I googled it. The prob was the *** it appeared to be had a PROG option that wasn't in our menu. I was trying to fgr out on my own so I didn't have to call, but couldn't so I did & told office lady very politely what was happening & that I needed *** # because ours didn't seem to be programmable. She said she'd talk to husband & call me next day. Instead I got a txt that night with our *** # & a utube lnk to look it up. I txtd her back because **** didn't work & said, again, that PROG option wasn't in our menu & asked her to call me next day. She didn't. That night I googled *** further & fnd out PROG option was something the installer had to set up in the install. I txtd her that info & again asked her to call me next day. I didn't hear from her that morning so I tried to call & lft vcml about what I had found & asked her to call me. She finally did late in afternoon & started asking me q's & suggested we needed a srvc call. When I told her we had 1 recently, the responses became she'd refer me to that company for a srvc call. I finally told her for probably the 4th time I just needed to know how to turn PROG option on, because they shouldn't have installed a new systm w/out that feature. She back-peddaled & said she was sure it was & would send manual lnk so I could fgr it out or call my new cmpny. Very unprofessional & passive-aggressive. Update. There were a few steps she could've told me on the phone to trn PROG option on myself.
