1 starYeah if you ever get towed, for gods sake stay with your vehicle or make sure you have all your personal out of the car because these b******* will throw out ALL of your personal belongings without a second thought. 1 starI am a Licensed Business Dealer and have been using IAA for vehicle purchases. BUT, this last purchase has left an aweful taste in my mouth. I followed their "Step by Step" instructions to pay in branch with a cashiers check, but because the check did not have "Remitter" wording on the check, the ******* branch would not accept payment. Yet, all the information that the "Step by Step" instructions requested, were on the check. Keep in mind, I just took a flight in from 1400 miles away and had a rental car to get from *** to **************, with an $87,000 cashiers check (Drawn on a *************** CU) to pay and pickup an RV to drive it to *******. At that time I was floored that ******* the ** WOULD NOT accept the cashiers check even though all requested info was on the check. AMAZING. So, as I drove the rental car to ****** AZ branch to make the payment, This branch understood that banks/ credit unions have different verbage on their cashiers checks, and processed my payment. Of course I had to drive 400 miles back to ********** to complete the pickup along with now having to pay a $50 one day storage charge.The biggest piece in this whole situation was that as of Feb 17th 2025 The IAA phone line is none existant!! NO TALKING TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE *** ANYMORE!! Members are now forced to CHAT! So if you are a **** and pecking type of person on a keyboard, patience will be needed. THIS IS THE WORST IDEA EVER! As I chatted with a ***, they stated that the "Remitter" mandate was introduced back in August 2023?? Hmmmmm, why wasn't it placed in the "Step by Step" instructions for in branch payment. This is where COMMON SENSE wins out with this circumstance. In addition, Now IAA has placed my Licensed Business Dealer Account inactive!! One Rep stated that because of the HIGH unpaid bid was the cause. The other *** says that my Business License was expired and to resubmit my License. Interesting, since I submitted this update back in Dec 20th 2024 and it was approved.Review fromDan N

I have used this service for a few years and lately the customer service has been very poor on a corporate level. In the last two auctions, i have been the high bidder (#******) at end of the bidding process, both before on the block auction and at the end of on the block auction. At both times, it was shown on the screen shot that car was sold for my high bid, yet after auction the car was not shown to be sold to me. I was also not notified that i was overbid and the car was not rescheduled for another auction.I talked to a representative at the branch level, and they couldn't figure out why i was not awarded the bid in both instances and referred me to the corporate office. I filed two different cases, which were closed without anyone talking to me. I tried calling and was put on hold for over an hour both times and finally give up. Finally, last Saturday, Feb. 8, i was able to talk to a representative who started another case #********. Today, Feb 12, i started a chat with a company representative about the case submitted. After waiting 40 minutes i was able to chat with a representative. After explaining the situation, the representative stated the seller can decide who buys the vehicle and i was probably overbid. When i mentioned the usual company policy of being notified that i was not the high bidder and then that the web site showed i was not overbid and in fact the web site showed i had lost by $0, the company representative closed the chat. When I tried logging on with the case number, it was shown that the case had been closed. I won't be paying for another year of being able to bid as it seems being high bidder on a vehicle is not always the case and the company can make excuses of why a car is not awarded to the highest bidder. Also, the customer service department is rude and nonexistent.IAA

Towed my car and took the title and the tag back in 2/2021. The tag was never returned to ******* like the driver stated it would be. I am now getting tickets for tolls up and down i95.IAA

They took my $200 and never gave me auction/bidding access. I attempted 5 times to contact them but no reply of anything other than an auto reply. This is a fraudulent company. Do not use them.IAA

Your account was placed out of business due to we had no respond from you on necessary paperwork for your business account. If buyers do not respond within 48hrs all cases will be close.
Per notes it was also advise you have received a full refund for your membership.
If the accounts are close, all buyers can contact us through chat, or email.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with TitleMax after my vehicle was repossessed. It took TWO WEEKS just to get an appointment to retrieve my personal belongings. When I finally got there, I wasnt allowed to access the vehicle myself or even observe their employees as they removed my ******** make matters worse, some of my belongings were missing, including a brand-new pair of boots and a registered handgun. They also flat-out refused to let me retrieve my dashcam, which wasnt even wired into the dashboard; BUT THAT WAS THEIR EXCUSE TO NOT HAND IT OVER!This level of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is unacceptable. People trust these companies to act responsibly with their property, but this experience has shown otherwise. My advice: avoid them at all costs if you can. THEY DO NOT VALUE YOUR PROPERTY OR YOUR RIGHTS!IAA

For the information above you will need to connect with Title Max id this was a vehicle or request through them as we follow certain guidelines.
The branch takes inventory on behalf of the provider and we have a list that can be provided by the branch of the only item located inside the vehicle at the time of arrival. Anything that needs to be removed technology wise will have to be approved and notated by them in our system.
If you are missing a handgun please file a police report as one was not located inside the vehicle at the arrival time.

We dont buy much on here anymore. Their fees are exorbitant. ????We paid $2400 in fees for the last pickup we bought from IAA. Robbery!IAA

1 starThese people are mentally disabled. I have no idea how they can function as a wrecker service when they can't read or speak English enough to enter an address into a gps. Waited for three hours while these idiots literally drove in circles around the given address while saying that they couldn't find it. I even pinned my exact location to their phone. Finally told them to s**** off and got a fully functional adult human to come do the job. But the funniest thing is they get mad at you because they are too stupid to read. I favor this auction over ****** because they do things differently. With that being said, I am very disappointed with how they operate this business with favorable options for different time zones I believe. There were vehicles I was very close to the reserve on and did not receive a counter offer. I don't credit that completely to IAA fully, even though it may be something that they could work on. What disturbs me even further is that when my area, in *******************, I am forced to wait until after 3:30 in the morning for an auction update for a "Buy It Now" vehicle. It's been like this since I've been on their platform for over 5 years and I thought that was just how it was until I started learning a pattern on vehicles that were sold when I was not given the option to buy them due to the statusof the vehicle not yet updated. I've missed many opportunities this way and IAA really needs to update their structure so buying is fair for everyone. I tried calling the corporate number after being on hold for over an hour, I get two different people who did not help or provide answers to the situation. I was placed on hold and hung up on and did not want to waste any more of my day trying to get someone to listen to a serious concern that affects my business. I have even thought about seeking legal counsel and reaching out to the ********************** that regulates these licensing. It is not a fair practice when other buyers are not given the option to purchase vehicles after midnight when it's supposed to be released for everyone. I have dealt with the delay of an hour (8.:30am, which 9:30am my time) with auction starting because of the time zone difference, why can't it be the same for the buyers who look for the vehicles to purchase when it's released in batches soposedly at midnight? My buyer number is ******. I have started collecting evidence to support my claim and I would like to have answers and a solution to this problem. Thank youIAA
