    On 4/17/2024, I hired secure Secure Fence LLC located in ******** IL to install a gate to allow access between the side of my house and the next door neighbor house. The reason for the gate to be installed was due to a wrought iron fence my property but in order to gain access to to in between houses I had to go to the neighbor yard to acess the side of the house. I also had secure fence install wooden Panels on the wrought iron fence to my neighbor on the other side . They installed the panels on the fence but shortly after installing the panels I noticed that several panels are protrudding from the center. The panels were fastened on the left and right of the wrought iron fence. I contacted *************************** to let him know of the situation and he came and initally said that there was not much he could do but he did say he could do some repairs to fix the defect. I have contacted ******* on several occasions thru phone calls and text messages. ***************** has made several promises to come and correct but has failed to do so. I paid $1850.00 for the the gate and wooden panels to be installed. The material that they used is subar wood and my concern is will this last during the winter or the longevity. I have also asked for a final receipt and the warranty but he has failed to produce. I am seeking a partial refund for the work or rectify the situation. I put up a ****** deposit and ****** dollars after work was completed.

    Good morning hope everything is well, apologies for the late response we have been talking with our team to come up with the best solution to solve this issue. With that being said, we will repair the portion of the fence project that the customer requested. A crew will be on his property this Saturday (07-20-2024) between 8-9am to repair what needs to be repaired to meet ******** needs.

    We hired Secure fence to install our fence, we signed a contract and got a permit for the job. We paid the 50% per contract, and the other 50% was supposed to be paid after job completion. ******* ***** the owner, refused to complete the job; after numerous attempts and communication. Failed promises on getting the job completed. I made several attempts to get this resolved, I just hired another company to complete the job. Im requesting he paid back the 50%; that was paid to him. I have multiple texts messages from him; of promises to show up. He never did.

    On September 17,2021, I contracted with Secure Fence to install a privacy fence around my home. I was provided with a Lifetime Warranty on the Fence and a 2 year Warranty on the driveway fence gate. The driveway fence gate was damaged from a high wind storm. I contacted Secure Fence on January 14, 2023 regarding the incident and they came out to do an assessment. I was informed that since it was weather related damage, the repairs were not covered under my warranty, although there is no written language or provisions in the contract which states this. ******* then requested a 50% deposit of $225, which I provided in the form of a check. On January 17, 2023, ******* cashed the deposit check. On January 18, 2023, I followed up with him on when the repairs could be done. I was informed the repairs would be completed on January 19, 2023. ******* was a no-call-no-show. I contacted and he informed that he had an emergency and would have to reschedule for the following day on which he was again a no-call-no-show. I contacted him on January 20, 2023 and he rescheduled to January 21, 2023. Again a no-call-no-show. I contacted him and he rescheduled to the following day. Again a no-call-no-show. He then informed that he needed to order a part on January 26,2023. I contacted him on January 27, 2023 to inquire on an ETA for the part. No response. I contacted him on February 3. 2023 and he informed that the part arrived and scheduled the repairs for February 4, 2023. Again a no-call-no-show. I contacted him on February 6, 2023 and he informed that he would come out to complete the repairs on February 7, 2023, on which he was again a no-call-no-show. I contacted him on February 7, 2023 and he informed that he ordered the wrong part, but did not provide an estimated timeframe of when the part will arrive and when we can complete the repairs. As of this date, February 7, 2023, the driveway gate remains un-repaired and ******* still is in possession of my $225 deposit money.
