      Ulta corporate office is completely unprofessional. If you have an issue with anything that happens in their store, they will accuse you of lying despite the fact that I was told by employees of my local store that theyve had the same issues Ive had. They dont clean their brushes properly, their customer service is disrespectful and disgusting with the way they speak to you, and they will send you through a bunch of circles only to keep telling you that theyre lying. I have photo evidence for what their store did to me and Im still being told Im lying.

      Shocked by the ************ Will ***** Return I had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Ulta in The Woodlands. I came in with a bride-to-be (who is disabled), her two young nieces, her mother, and myselfa professional makeup artist with 25 years of experience, recently retired. I was simply there to help her find the perfect wedding look and assist with product ************ first, the staff was kind. Since the bride is disabled, they allowed me to sit in a makeup chair in the corner while we tested products. I was respectful of the space, used only Ultas disposable tools like Q-tips, and kept everything clean as we worked. We were clearly planning to spend around $500 on products.Then, out of nowhere, the manager approached us and very curtly demanded I vacate the seat because it was reserved for Ulta artistsdespite the fact that no one had used the area for over an hour, and there were two other completely empty makeup stations right next to us. I explained the situation and asked for just 5 more minutes. She only relented with extreme reluctance.I was doing all the work of promoting and applying their products, helping my friend choose what to purchase. But after being treated so rudely and made to feel unwelcome, we cut our purchase in half and went to ******* instead to buy the restnearly $300 worth of makeup.This experience left me horrified. Ill never shop at this Ulta again, and I encourage others to take their business elsewhere. No customer, especially one with a disability, should be treated with such a lack of respect.

      I received a $10.00 off coupon for Ulta in mail. Yet, when going to purchase items from Ulta store, there are a multitude of exclusions/ restrictions in order to use coupon. Example ---- coupon says "excludes the salon at ultra beauty, ear piecing, skin bar, and benefit brow bar, fragrance, prestige brands and select other brands, ******, No1DE CHANEL, dyson, early black friday deals, beauty steals, beauty deals and clearance. ***** at the Wheaton store in **, declines my coupon and was unable to provide me with information on what I could use my coupon for. He just told me I could not use it on "prestige brands"- which %70 of the store is name brand items. I feel like Ulta sends out coupons to get customers in store, then just make it a "guessing" game for customers to try and figure out what items this coupon applies. *****, told me.. "its not that hard, just don't pick prestige brands". So, I asked for the list of "prestige brands" and was shown a piece of paper, that i was not allow to take. So apparently, I have to study what beauty products are "prestige" in order to shop at Ulta. If I am going to purchase "generic brand" make-up, then why not just go to grocery store or dollar store? I go to Ulta to get nice, well made products, yet Ulta sends out coupons to make customers come to store only to deny ability to use coupon.

      Worst customer service experience ever. I made an online purchase of 11 items & received a notice that all items shipped together. When the box arrived 2 items were missing. Ulta never let me know the items hadn't been shipped. I contacted Ulta customer service via text message. Got tossed around between agents & finally one said they would ship the items to me. I waited 10 days & still never received the items. I contacted Ulta customer service again, this time via phone, explained the situation to the agent & asked that the items be shipped overnight. She refused. I asked to speak with a supervisor. The agent placed me on hold & then hung up on me. I called back, requesting a supervisor again & again the agent hung up on me. After calling a 3rd time to request a supervisor, being placed on hold, & then hung up on again, I called back for the 4th and final time & told the agent to issue a refund. I also told the agent that i had been a loyal customer for over 10 years but because of this experience I would never purchase another thing from Ulta. She responded with "ok". No apology or acknowledgement. If I could give Ulta zero stars I would.

      When I initiated the appointment for make up and hair coloring . I spoke initially to a Steph .i confirmed an appointment for 11:00 and 11:30 am . 03/31/25 .Upon reiterating my appointment . ***** **** up on me very rudely slammed the phone down . Perhaps it was because I would not give her my email address .. I called on 04/02/25 . to speak with ****** ******** . the make up employee. To ask her if she could pick out the make she used on my face . She said she could. I said I needed the *** face makeup medium shade the gloss blush and the concealer . She named all the three products I was interested in . I told her zi would be there at 11:00 today .She took me to the *** section and said sit THERE and pointed with her finger . Rudely did not explain why .There was a male employee that had black makeup around his eyes. That does not represent my values . It made me very uncomfortable . I told her that she described all the makeup names that I needed the previous day . She said she did not remember. The *** employee sprayed his hands and open a box that was liquid makeup . That was not used on my makeup. I said Im leaving . Furthermore , Steph referred me to a hairstylist that was at the bottom of experience. She did not tell me that I could have made a appointment with a master stylist . I read on a review that Ulta is being sued for using old make up on customers . I will not return to that store.

      Ive been a loyal client of **** at Ulta Beauty for a long time. I scheduled my root touch-up appointment over 45 days ago for today at 5:30 PM. Then, out of nowhere, at 3:20 PM, they called to cancel because **** was called out sick. I understand that things happenbut what happened next was beyond unprofessional.They offered me a spot with someone else at 4:00 PMwith LESS than an hour's notice. Thats not how this works. I have a schedule. We all do. And the person on the phone? Completely rude, no apology, no effort to help. Just the next available is next Friday.They made zero effort to accommodate me, despite the fact that Ive been a regular client. Thats what makes it even worse. Not even an ounce of customer care or basic *******************************, you just lost a loyal client. Im so frustrated and disappointed. If this is how you treat people who actually come back again and again, I cant imagine how you treat new customers. Do better.

      I brought an eyeliner that I wanted to buy to the cash register. I told her the item was faulty (it had been opened with the plastic off), and she said she would order it online for me. When she was done placing the order, she just started at me and didnt say anything. I had to ask her when it will arrive and she said i dont know, maybe like 10 days. She didnt tell me where the receipt was or give me one. When i came back from dinner, i checked my email and found the receipt, only to find that she ordered the wrong color. I try to contact customer service over chat and i couldnt get a hold of anyone. Then I tried messaging the number. It turns out that I could only change or refund the item after 1 hour (which the woman never told me). The customer service person on messenger was the one who told me. I waited about 10+ minutes between replies and all she told me was we cant cancel it, wait till it gets to your house then take it to your local store. So now I am paying for an item I didnt want, and I have to figure out the returning - all because the original associate made a mistake and never checked the color I wanted nor noticed it was the wrong color. This is terrible customer service. I implore anyone who wants to order an item with an associate to double check if they did it right and check the receipt immediately. This is unjust. It feels that Ulta doesnt really care about their customers. I would go somewhere else for your makeup, where you are treated fairly and respectfully.

      In January of 2024 my partner and I were wrongly accused of theft by manager jasmine . She followed us out the store and said she had footage of me and my partner stealing an item I had never heard of. When I went back to ask her what she said, she said she didnt say anything and I said you definitely did just claim to have footage of me stealing so please show me. We are not regulars in this ULTA location at **************** in ***************. She refused to show me and threatened to call the cops on me and kicked us out the store. She then said she may have been mistaking and I asked for an apology and she refused to apologize and kicked us out. Since then I have contacted Ulta and was only compensated with $50, but thats not enough to cover the emotional distress and embarrassment she put us through. I truly believe my partner and I were racially profiled as this is an affluent area and we are Latinos. Ive been pressing the issue because this behavior is not okay and I deserve an apology and that manager deserved serious consequences for that unacceptable behavior ! Since this incident I do not feel comfortable entering an Ulta establishment for the fear of being profiled.

      Did not receive my Be Prestige Pro Sampler but 4 samples with one missing the cap, another was filthy and didnt have the inner lid along with shampoo and conditioner samples thrown in literally a garbage bag. Ulta did a bait and switch.

      There was a promo for a free 13 piece beauty bag with a minimum $90 order. I placed my order which was $355, and then realized that the promo didnt automatically add and that I had to manually do it. I tried contacting customer service, and their response didnt make any sense saying things like the order is at my discretion. I asked for clarification and they said the only thing they could do is cancel the order, so I asked for them to do that and then they said thats not possible. When I asked why they responded that the promo was out of stock, which it wasnt. Then they said theres nothing they could do and signed off. The entire exchange didnt make sense to me. They were not helpful in anyway. After having negative experiences in ulta stores I have tried online, but it seems that they dont value customer service
