Note: This is a brief summary of summary of benefits available. Benefits are subject to eligibility and details may be found in summary plan descriptions and in the BBB Employee Handbook.
401(k) plan
Employees with one year of service and are 21 years of age or older are eligible to join. All eligible employees that have not elected or waived participation in the Plan will be automatically enrolled at 2% on a pre-tax basis. Employees may defer on a pre-tax and/or Roth basis up to the maximum amount determined by IRS regulations. BBB will provide all participants a safe harbor matching contribution of 100% of the first 4% of pay an employee defers. This contribution is 100% vested. BBB will make an additional matching contribution of 50% of the first 6% of pay deferred. In addition there is an employer discretionary pro-rata employer contribution. Past contributions to eligible employees has been 3% (this is the same as the Money Purchase Plan below). Employees may choose from a wide variety of investment options through Nationwide Financial.

Community Relations & Event Marketing Specialist - Eastern Massachusetts
Better Business Bureau of Eastern Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont is a values-based organization that promotes trust within the business community.
We’re seeking a Community Relations & Event Marketing Specialist to serve as a BBB Brand Ambassador in Eastern Massachusetts. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community-driven individual with a passion for relationship-building and event marketing.
This is a 32-hour workweek position with a flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend events.
The Community Relations & Event Marketing Specialist will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community driven. This position requires someone that possesses a positive attitude, a readiness to be a team player, and the ability to work independently. Essential responsibilities of the Community Relations & Event Marketing Specialist include, but are not limited to:
Initiate, plan and attend events in the community and at businesses, reaching out where people live, work and shop
Attend and exhibit at trade shows, farmer’s markets, expos and similar events throughout Eastern Massachusetts acting as a BBB Brand Ambassador
Event set-up and breakdown
Manage events calendar
Coordinate event logistics
Track event budget for all event marketing initiatives
The Community Relations & Event Marketing Specialist will be driving a BBB Branded van and must have a safe, secure place to park it.
The ideal candidate will:
Be proficient with Google platforms
Possess excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Be friendly and personable with an outgoing personality
Possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record and a comfort level driving in all types of weather
Have the availability to work some evenings, weekends, and overnights
Be able to lift up to 60 lbs

Multimedia Content Creator
Better Business Bureau of Eastern Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont is a values-based organization that promotes trust within the business community.
We are seeking a Multimedia Content Creator to join our Community Relations & Event Marketing team. This role is perfect for a creative professional who is passionate about storytelling through photography and videography.
This 32-hour-per-week position offers a flexible schedule to accommodate evening or weekend shifts and requires travel to on-site locations within Eastern Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality photos and videos that align with BBB’s branding and storytelling objectives.
- Work in the field to create content that conveys emotion, narrative, and the unique features of BBB and its Accredited Businesses.
- Collaborate with businesses to produce engaging short-form videos that showcase their values and services.
- Produce marketing content for social media, sales initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
- Cover BBB events, capturing impactful moments through photography and videography.
- Take professional headshots for members of the business community.
- Edit and refine images and videos to ensure top-tier quality and consistency.
- Maintain high production standards while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Who You Are:
- Proven experience in shooting and editing video content.
- Strong photography skills with an eye for composition and detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and comfort driving in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs as needed for equipment and event setup.
